About the event
In this seasonal workshop, we’ll spend time getting to know some of the herbs and plants at their summer peak, exploring their flavors, traditional uses, and the many ways we can preserve and enjoy them. We’ll talk about the history of shrubs and how herbs, fruit, vinegar, and sweetness come together to create a bright, flavorful drink that captures the essence of the season.
Then we’ll head into the apothecary to create your own herbal shrub to take home. You’ll have the opportunity to experiment with different seasonal herbs and flavors and create a combination that’s uniquely your own.
Come spend an afternoon celebrating summer, learning about plants, making something delicious, and connecting with community.
No previous herbal knowledge is needed—just come curious and ready to taste, create, and enjoy the season.
